AHMSI has delayed the repair of my home

My home was damaged in a tornado. The insurance check had their name on it and I sent it along with lots of paperwork that they insisted on. There have been several delays because they have not processed the papers and they have given me three different days when the check will be sent - all three passed without sending the check. I keep explaining that the house needs repairs to make it livable again but they don't seem to care. When this nightmare is over (if I ever get the money) I will re-finance to escape their horrible company.

Foreclosing on a fraudulant Mortgage

AHMSI is foreclosing on my home. I saw a report on 60 Minutes last night and now I understand what the problem is. I have been trying to modify my mortgage for close to 2 years. I was told by their customer service department that I must borrow money from friends or relatives to pay my mortgage current in order for them to help me. So I did. They wouldn't help me. Then I fell behind again and they told me to use my 401K money to pay them and then they would work with me. So I did. Guess what, they didn't help me. Now they have sent me a letter of intent to foreclose on my home unless I pay them. I have no money to pay them. I used it the last two times because they said that they would help me if I did. I have faxed them my HAMP paper work at least 5 times. They say that they never received it even though I have confirmation that it was sent to the number that they provided for me. After reviewing the 60 Minutes report I got wise. This time I have asked for all of the documents because I saw the 60 Minutes report. I am willing to bet the money that I don't have to pay them, that the documents I have requested either don't exist or are in the process of being forged so that they can foreclose.Long story short... They will foreclose on me because they don't have nor do they know who actually owns my mortgage. They have sold me a mortgage I have no savings left, I have no money to give them and now I will be homeless in less than one year. Wake up America, people like you and I have no rights when it comes to the mortgage crisis. NO ONE CARES IF WE ARE HOMELESS. It will cost less money for AHMSI to foreclose on me than it will do the right thing. In order to do a short sale they have to know who owns the mortgage. So, it is easier to kick me out of my home and let the house stand empty until they figure it out. There is a special place in *** for the people who work for AHMSI.

AHMSI is American Brokers Conduit

"The company was established in April 2008." This company was found d/b/a American Brokers Conduit(ABC)in 2005. AHM Corp., AMHSI,ABC,Mortgage Select,Marina Mortgage,First Home Mortgage were all the same filing bankruptcy in 2007. Wilbur Ross & Co. bailed them out. http://www.businessweek.com/bwdaily/dnflash/content/aug2007/db200708*_157817.htm AHMSI sent a letter saying it has no affiliation with ABC and is only the loan servicer and not the originator. ABC is now where to be contacted. AHMSI knows this using the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act(RESPA)claiming only to be the loan servicer. You can not see your original contracted terms when a company claims not to be that company.

America Home Mortgage Scam

Stay away from a scam. The broker Art Hidalgo takes your deposit out from your account and then promises approval of your loan with a fakey loan lock. The loan orginator Christine Pense (aka Chrsitine Hidalgo - Art's wife) ignores your phone calls. The service ends after they get hold of your cash. Despite a so called approval of the loan, the loan fails to go through - fake out. They will tell you the loan approval has been extended - more bogus. I'm out of money and out of luck. Don't be fooled by promises of fast loan closes. If they swear it, it's a lie!

I have been going around and round with AMHSI for over a year and a half now. I did the initial modification, had to fax and refax paperwork that they didn't get, made weekly phone calls, and received different anwsers from every call, only to be old that I was denied a remodification, with no reasoning or explanation behind it.

They took my principal balance from 170,000 to now a huge $254,000.00 with no anwser how it got that high. Now they tell me that I can do another remodification under Obama's new stimulas remodification, sent in the paperwork, and also sent a request for a forensic audit for the justification of the high principal. I did that once before a year ago, and they never provided me the proof.

I am a middle aged, hard working adult, paying tax payer citizen, and getting the run around from company who rates an F on the BBB. Now I need help and need a good lawyer to go after them and file a law suit for emotional turmoil, the cost of all the paperwork, phone calls, and falsely representing our this mortgage.

AHMSI is ripping me off via my escrow account

The servicing of my loan was transferred from TBW to AHMSI. I am a manager of a mortgage company and I have never seen such an unorganized, uncaring, unprofessional company. My current problem is that AHMSI has put mortgage insurance on my property. I sent them a letter, along with an appraisal perfromed when my loan was with TBW and my monthly mortgage statements from TBW showing I had mortgage insurance before the appraisal and I did not have mortgage insurance after the appraisal as the appraised value was high enough to warrant the removal of the MI. I also sent a letter to the Virginia State Corporation Commission, hoping they had regulation authority over AHMSI. My letters complained about AHMSI not paying my real estate taxes, not paying my homeowners insurance and charging me for private mortgage insurance when I had years ago paid for an appraisal and had the mortgage insurance dropped by the lender who originated my loan. AHSMI responded to the State Corporation and lied about paying my real estate taxes (they are yet to be paid as of 1/29), placing forced homeowners insurance on me and adding private mortgage insurance to my escrows. Ms. Baxter wrote back and said my loan-to-value was too high, which it wasn;t after the appraisal and she did not mention even seeing the appraisal or seeing the TBW statements showing that the private mortgage insurance was dropped long before they took over the loan. They have increased my monthly payments while they were guessing on what they were doing with the escrows on my loan and have yet to get my escrow account straight and drop the PMI. If anyone knows who I can contact to bring this to the media's attention and to get this resolved and who a regulatory body might be for this company please let me know.

I have had ongoing issues wit AHMSI as well and the escrow fiasco. They basically violate the Respa Act however the government does little to enforce the act itself. After being bailed out, how nice is it they increase your mortgage 30% and expect youto pay it.

My house has been in foreclosure for almost 3 years. I have tried to do a loan mod with them for at least 1 year.

They don't want you to get a loan mod, they want to foreclose. they are crooks.

AHMSI Forget getting a loan mod

AHMSI are nothing but a bunch of crooks. Our trouble started with them in July 2009 when they paid our property taxes AFTER we had already paid them (we were not escrowed). Then they said that WE had to pay THEM back that they would not wait for their refund from the county tax office and then because of THEIR mistake they did a forced escrow, even though we explained to them that they were the problem not us. The next fiasco with them is that we have been attempting to do a loan modification, in which they never return our phone calls (we've left as many as 20 messages in a week's time with no response) or if they do decide to call us it is to ask for more and more documentation, which I send it to them the very same day of their request. This has been going on since October 2009 and still no word if they are going to do a mod or not. Third problem with them was with the homeowners insurance, which nothing had changed, same policy etc, but they claimed we didnt have insurance (this was December 2009), when we do. We had to send documentation of coverage numerous times. If you look at the report on at the U.S. Treasury website you will see that through the end of December 2009 they have only completed 232 permanent modifications, so for those of you who are so unfortunate to have your mortgage serviced by this company, I wouldn't hold my breath about getting a loan mod. If they don't do a loan mod we are walking and I hope this house sits empty until it falls down. I wouldn't wish this mortgage servicer on my worst enemy.

This has also been my problem. I sent in the required documentation SEVEN TIMES.

In April, they finally sent me a letter saying they recieved it, and would need up to 30 days to process it. Then a month later, they sent another letter saying to allow up to 90 more days. I hadn't heard anything until today, when they left me a message saying, for the eighth time, the paperwork was incomplete and I would AGAIN need to send them the required financial documentation.

I get nowhere with the phone numbers they give me, and if I do get ahold of someone they don't know my situation, they're RUDE and they barely speak English. Since our mortgage was sold to AHMSI, our homeowner experience has been a complete nightmare.

thats right just forget it. the whole thing is a hoax .they need to get money fast, and by you just paying , a regular amount of a house payment each month, they can get 100 times of that if they steal your home and sell it, it happened to me

I believe AHMSI is liable for my sons death!

American Home Mortgage Servicing lied and cheated my son, scammed him out of $1500 for a "modified mortgage loan" for which they solicited him and he complied then they reneged on contract causing unbearable stress leading to his death at 45 years of age!! I want to see other "pissed consumers" register any grievances they may have leading to illness, injury or deaths! People...SPEAK UP NOW....B4 its too late for you! You may have damages stemming from illegal activities from Option One Mortgage and Americam Home Mortgage which went bankrupt and tey simply passed on your loans to its servicing outfit which isd based in Texas/California and possibly India. I expect to file wrongful death action and breaches of contract as well as Option One making a loan that it had no business making in the first place thern passing that loan off to AHMSI. Read consumer comp[laints in Ripoff Report.com and e mail copies to ahmcriminal@***.com c/o Richard Horvath 480-292-****. He is preparing a class action lawsuit.

Where is the accountability? Why is it always the banks fault if someone failed to use common sense and say "wait, I can't afford this with my income"

--------------------------

YOU might want to know AHMSI is scamming thousands of people out of their homes.

I'm sure you've done your research on AHMSI--- BEFORE judging others "aa".

YOU ( aa ) will reap what you sow.....a born ***.

Thanks for the bankruptcy Dave H...

I would just like to thank Dave H from American Home Mortgage in Powell, OH for giving me a loan I could not afford. I will certainly take the responsibility for being dumb enough to sign for it. Dave told me that my mortgage payment + taxes and insurance would only be $700-$800/mo. but once we got to the closing table we found out it would be more like $900-$1000/mo. I should have backed out right there, but I was too scared so I just went with it. Now, I have lost the house and filed bankruptcy all because some guy named Dave pretended to be qualified and actually was not. Th-th-th-thanks Dave. G-g-g-good l-luck with your future, and may you become richer at the expense of others.
